ABOUT THE PAINE: The historic Paine property holds a collection of more than a thousand artworks, including paintings, sculp-tures, furnishings, and decorative objects. Aaron Sherer, Executive Director of the Paine, says, “The garden is a living artwork in which people can marvel at the wonder of nature in concert with the ingenuity of humankind.” Similar to the Paine Man-sion’s main gallery, which features changing art exhibitions, the new formal garden is now a major outdoor “gallery” that will feature spectacular changing seasonal displays of plants. As a four season garden, the space will present a spectacular bulb display in the spring, a major annual display in the summer, a frost-hardy display in fall, and dramatic lighting in winter.
ABOUT THE OSHKOSH FOX RIVER BREWERY: In 1995, the Supple brothers opened up Fox River Brewing Company alongside Fratellos (meaning brothers) Waterfront Restaurant. In 1997 the brothers opened a second brewery location in Appleton. For over 20 years, the Fox River Brewing Co. and Fratellos remain the original waterfront brewery in Oshkosh. It’s a really fun and beautiful spot and the food is pretty awesome, as well.
