The Youth Theatre Company, a community-based theater for youth and adults, will hold open auditions for its upcoming Mother’s Day Weekend performance of “The Pied Piper”, a classic telling of one of the most beloved stories of all time through an original musical adaption, complete with song, dance and good old-fashioned storytelling!
Auditions will be held Saturday, January 18 at 10 am, Sunday, January 19 at 2 pm and Monday, January 20 at 6 pm in the Great Room of the Plymouth Arts Center located in downtown Plymouth, 520 E Mill St, Plymouth, WI.
NO preparation is necessary. Wear comfortable clothes to move in! We are looking for an Intergenerational Cast - Boys, Girls, Middle Schoolers, Teens!!, Young Adults, Older Adults ages 8 and beyond!!!
Auditions are open to everyone. Lines from the script and movement & rhythm will be taught to those auditioning, so comfortable clothing should be worn. Participants will also be asked to sing a simple, familiar tune that we will provide. No preparation or music necessary. Bring your calendar of conflicts for February, March and April.
Performances of “The Pied Piper” will be Friday, May 9, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 11 (Mother’s Day!!) at 2:00 p.m.
The original “Pied Piper!” script, written by YTC directors, Tim and Patty Talen, will feature a cast of up to 25 performers. The show will feature unique characters, group acting, song, dance, movement, rhythms & fun!
YTC has produced family-oriented plays since 1978, including Badger Tales, Mountain Magic, Story Surfin’, Feelin’ Groovy, Aesop’s Fables, Go H20, Cartunes, Tom Sawyer, Jingle n’ Jive, Rhythm and Rhyme, Scrooge, Just Say Cheese, Jingle all the Way, Guys and Dolls, Oh Sweet Goats and last years’ Story Surf’n, to name a few!

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the Plymouth Arts Center with Celtic Folk as they present three shows of the ever-popular, “A Wee Bit Irish!” Enjoy this live musical concert featuring your favorite traditional and contemporary Irish tunes. Show dates are Friday and Saturday, March 14-15 at 7:30pm and a Sunday Matinee on March 16 at 2:30 pm.
