After a stellar 51st season, the Kids From Wisconsin will be Live! In Living Color in 2020. The curtain opens in June and closes in August with over 60 performances of “Live! In Living Color”. The tour will take the group over 7000 miles this summer and the show will take a look at some of the greatest live music venues throughout the history of this country and the musical artists that helped define their legacy’s. The Ed Sullivan Theater, Caesars Palace, The Grand Ole Opry, House of Blues, and Broadway just to name a few. 22 Singer/Dancers and a 14 piece show band have been selected from applicants all across the state. Nothing makes a community more proud than seeing a HOMETOWN KID representing their city/town, performing with Kids From Wisconsin across the state.Join us this summer, “Live! In Living Color” for our Plymouth Show, which will be held at the Howards Grove Center for the Arts (due to the expanded construction at the Plymouth High School,) on Monday, June 29th, 2020 at 7PM.
For 51 summers, the Kids From Wisconsin (KFW) have toured the Midwest, performing a live, two-hour Broadway-style revue to audiences of over 120,000 each summer. The group showcases Wisconsin’s brightest performers, ages 15-20 whom are declared “Wisconsin’s Premiere Musical Ambassadors” by every Governor of Wisconsin. Performers are professionally trained to provide positive, family-oriented performances. The experience enhances professional performing skills, along with developing leadership training through performer led workshops that teach, mentor and inspire participants through the performing arts. KFW also partners with over 35 community service groups across the state to deliver affordable, high-quality entertainment right in their own communities. 70% of the performers with the KFW go on to performing arts careers all over the world.
