One day workshops, All Ages
April 7, 2019 from 1-4pm: Please register before April 1st. Have trouble finding the perfect song for an audition? Looking to expand your repertoire? Do you want to find new ways to showcase your talent? Join us for an audition workshop specifically geared towards adults and those who are in an adult age range. Led by theatre artist Tom Berger, he will give feedback on your current audition material, give helpful insight into selecting an audition piece for each individual show you’re considering, and give you recommendations for new regular pieces for your book. In addition to working on your current pieces, every participant will receive sheet music and cut suggestions for at least one song, handpicked to their specific talents. Have fun, build your book, and walk into your next audition ready to go! Work with Tom Berger on developing audition skills and your audition repertoire. Tailored song selections and cuts will be available, but please bring your own book as a guide.
Tom Berger’s work as a director, music director, choreographer, and teaching artist has been seen all over the country in something like 400 productions. His work has been seen off-Broadway, in NYC Independent Theatre, on national tours, and many college and university productions as a guest artist. Locally, he led Sheboygan Theatre Company from 2014 - 2018 where he directed several productions and taught many classes and workshops. He spends his summers directing and teaching for the prestigious Stagedoor Manor. Tom lives in Sheboygan with his favorite production, the 8-year-old Sebastian.
