Gallery 110 North’s 16th Annual Juried Exhibit
PLYMOUTH, WI-Wisconsin professional artists and Wisconsin residents for whom fine art is an avocation, are invited to submit entries for Gallery 110 North’s 16th Annual Juried Exhibit, “Alive in the Arts.” Artists must be 18 years and over to enter. Open to all two and three dimensional fine art media including, but not limited to, pastel, painting, sculpture, graphite, drawing, photography, fiber, ceramics, metal, glass, wood, paper, jewelry, leather, printmaking and mixed media. Postmark deadline for entries is April 8, 2011. “Alive in the Arts” will open on Friday, June 10 with a festive reception from 5-8pm. The JUROR for this 16th annual juried competition is Richard Daehnert: Art Professor Emeritus, University of Tennessee, Knoxville BS, MS, MFA. Daehnert is a Studio Artist of stitched drawings on canvas and makes his home in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
$1000 in cash awards will be presented. Awards will be determined at the Juror/Judge's discretion from the actual work.

In Celebration of Wisconsin Art
In what has become a Spring tradition, Gallery 110 North will host its annual juried show featuring the original artwork of select Wisconsin artists. Alive In The Arts…a Juried Exhibition opens to the public on Friday, June 10th and will continue through August 5.
This is the 16th year the Plymouth Arts Center will celebrate the variety and high quality of the art being created today by artists across the state of Wisconsin.
This exhibit attracted entries from 96 Wisconsin artists. Over 260 pieces of artwork were reviewed and considered for the exhibit. Juror, Richard Daehnert, Art Professor Emeritus, University of Tennesee, Knoxville BS, MS, MFA, selected 75 pieces for this exhibit. Daehnert is presently a studio artist living and working in Sheboygan, WI.
Artists with pieces in the exhibit come from 28 different Wisconsin communities.
A wide variety of media are represented including; watercolor, acrylic, wood, clay, photography, oil, ceramics, pastel, serigraphs, mixed media and intaglio.
The public is invited to meet the artists during the opening reception on Friday, June 10th from 5 to 8 PM. One thousand dollars in cash awards will be presented during an awards ceremony at 6:30 PM in the Great Room of the Plymouth Arts Center. Live musical entertainment will be presented from 5:15-6:30 PM by Maddison McKinch; piano and harp, Susanna Schilling; piano and violin, and by Ian McKinch; viola. Music from
7:00–8:00 PM will be by Beth Hoegger; piano and by Louis Luina; guitar. This exhibit is graciously sponsored by Community Bank & Trust and by 20/20 Visions – Dr. Sharon Roberts and Dr. Bradley Wicklund.
