On Friday, March 4th, I had the opportunity, thanks to Frank Juarez to speak to his advanced class of art students at North High School. I was amazed at the beauty and diversity of the work I saw hanging in the classroom. The enthusiasm of the students at seeing my work was very gratifying. I hope they never give up on their dream. The world of art is a beautiful place to live, as my teacher and mentor, Joyce Pike, once told me many years ago. Thank you again Frank for hosting me. |
