Milwaukee Fun Day-2012

Tour Cost Per Person: $148.00 (All inclusive luncheon included)
Please join us as we venture to Milwaukee aboard a coach bus for a fun filled day including: the Cleopatra Exhibit at the Milwaukee Public Museum (movie included); a scrumptious luncheon at Karl Ratzsch Restaurant; and the grande finale for the day, to see the Broadway Hit, “West Side Story” at the Marcus Center.
Two pick up locations for your convenience:
7:00 am—Plymouth Arts Center, 520 E Mill St, Plymouth (920) 892-8409
7:20 am—Home Depot Park and Ride, Sheboygan
Approximate return time: 5:30-6:00 pm
(buses will leave promptly at above times designated)
9:00 am–Milwaukee Public Museum
First, we will be viewing an introductory film on the Cleopatra Exhibit, “Cleopatra’s Universe”, whichexplores the truths and mysteries of Egypt’s legendary queen. We will then view the exhibit, “Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt” as we travel back in time to see stunning re-creations of the Alexandria Library, Cleopatra’s Palace, and the Pharos Lighthouse. The Milwaukee Public Museum is the third stop on the exhibition’s world tour. It features nearly 150 artifacts from Cleopatra’s time and helps visitors experience the present-day search for the elusive queen, which extends from the sands of Egypt to the depths of the Bay of Aboukir, near Alexandria.
11:30 am—Karl Ratzsch Restaurant
We will feast on a scrumptious lunch at Milwaukee’s Landmark German-American Restaurant since 1904, Karl Ratzsch’s. “Experience the Old World in a New Light!” Our choices will be: Black Forest Schnitzel, Braised Stuffed Pork Chop or Chicken Caesar Salad. Drinks include: coffee, iced tea, soft drinks, juices, or milk. Dessert is, of course, CHOCOLATE; Chocolate Torte!
2:00 pm—Marcus Center
Sit back, relax in your orchestra seat and enjoy the Musical Broadway Hit, “West Side Story”, that more than fifty years ago changed theater forever. Now it’s back, and mesmerizing audiences once again. From the first note to the final breath, “West Side Story” soars as the greatest love story of all time. “West Side Story” remains as powerful, poignant and timely as ever.
Complimentary wine and snacks will be served on the return bus ride.
