Poetry Open Mic Night

Open Mic Night

Attn: Poets and Writers

In celebration of National Poetry Month, the Plymouth Arts Center invites the community to recognize the importance that poetry and short fiction have had on our American culture. On Friday, April 23rd, the Plymouth Arts Center will host a Poetry and Short Fiction Open MIC Night at 7:00 PM. Poets and writers of all ages and abilities are invited to share their poems and short fiction. Even if you do not want to share your writing, come listen to the exceptional voices present in your community. Among community members presenting will be Plymouth High School’s Poets and Writers club, a group of 10-15 students who are eager to share their words.

The event is free. Participants are invited to bring snacks – cookies, bars, chips, dip, or any other family favorite – as tea and coffee will be offered. Come enjoy an evening of sharing and listening to poetry and short fiction among friends at the Plymouth Arts Center, 520 East Mill Street, downtown Plymouth, WI on Friday, April 23rd at 7:00 PM. For more information, please contact the PAC at (920) 892-8409; email: paf@excel.net; or visit the website: www.plymoutharts.org
