The Plymouth Arts Center is pleased to announce that its
television show “Gallery Works,” produced and hosted by Artist Kitty Lynne Klich
is now featured on Wisconsin on Demand, Digital Channel 1111. WIoD is free to
Time Warner Cable subscribers and is available in 200 communities throughout
Wisconsin. Subscribers can tune in the station by going to channel 1111,
scrolling to Plymouth Arts Center, and choosing one of the shows listed.
Time Warner’s Wisconsin on Demand channel was created to
bring viewers a great way to learn all about Wisconsin’s people, places and
happenings. WioD features a vast array of programs from local high school sports
to arts and entertainment. WioD serves as a resource for many non-for-profit
organizations to share their organization’s mission throughout our local
communities. WioD has reached a cable industry milestone, surpassing over one
million “hits” to the channel. Since its launch in October of 2003, it has
become one of the company’s most popular Free on Demand channels and remains one
of the top three most viewed Free on Demand channels.
“Gallery Works” is devoted to the promotion of Wisconsin
Artists working in a wide variety of media. The shows are taped in various
settings including Gallery 110 North of the Plymouth Arts Center and Plymouth
Community TV-14 by Gary Kaiser; Sheboygan’s TV-8 by Keary Kautzer; or on
location in Artists’ studios, etc. Currently, the following four shows are being
aired on WIoD: Ron Brenwall of Kiel-Studio Demo; Bruce Grover of
Kohler-Photography Exhibit in Gallery 110 North; Larry Basky of Plymouth-Serigraph,Oil
and Watercolor exhibit in Gallery 110 North and a Ukrainian Egg Painting
demonstration by Kristin Reinke and Laura Robertson.
Gallery Works also is aired on Sheboygan’s local cable
TV-8, Wednesdays at 8 pm and Friday at 11:30 am; TV 14, in Plymouth, on Tuesdays
at 11 am and 9 pm; Comcast TV, in Manitowoc, on Saturdays at 9:30 am and
Tuesdays at 5:30 pm; and WYOU, in Madison, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 am.
