Music, All Ages
The Plymouth Arts Center is presenting a family concert featuring the popular entertainer/singer, Tom Pease, on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 6 to 7pm. The concert is part of the PAC’s year-long 25th Anniversary Celebration. Tickets for the concert are $5 for adults and children 14 years and older; free for all children under the age of 14. Tickets are available through the PAC website: www.plymoutharts.org, call: 920.892.8409, or visit us downtown at 520 East Mill Street. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
Tom Pease has an infectious sense of fun and community building. With movement, sign language, humor, and joy, he creates concerts that leave audiences laughing and singing. He’s performed full time since 1982, often giving more than 200 performances per year. He’s also a frequent presenter at early childhood and environmental conferences, keynoting and leading breakout sessions that explore the role of music in shaping our lives and the world we live in. Tom connects and inspires with every show he does.
Tom says, “My philosophy on singing with kids and their families is I want to help that group find the feeling of community with song and laughter. I love celebrating the moment we’re in while remembering the past and future of the world around us. That “moment” is finding the unique things that are happening and celebrating them. I savor the spontaneity of a situation. In fact, it’s the lifeblood of my performances. It’s always been the best way for me to allow those magical moments of a child’s view of the world to appear.”
