Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend at the Plymouth Arts Center in beautiful downtown Plymouth on Friday and Saturday, March 15-16. Shake off those winter blues and anticipate Spring with all things Green while enjoying “Shamrocks & Shenanigans,” An Irish Music Show. Plymouth own’s Irish Lass, Ms. Mary Calvey, is the director of this ever-popular show which has become an annual Irish musical tradition at the PAC. Now celebrating 14 consecutive years, this fun show focuses on a wide selection of Irish melodies, including lovely ballads and pub songs and a wee bit o’ laughter thrown in. You don’t have to be Irish to appreciate this show! Bring your friends and family members and listen to your favorite Irish songs. Appreciate Irish dancing. Laugh at good Irish jokes. Enjoy some Irish beer at the cash bar. Receive a complimentary treat! There is sure to be something that everyone will love in this show.
This year’s talented cast includes: Mary Calvey (Plymouth), director, on vocals and bodhran; Steve Vogt (Grafton) on Irish tenor banjo, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica and vocals; Laura Kaat (Oostburg) on tin whistle, fiddle and vocals; Roger Cass (Cedarburg) on guitar and vocals; Bill Rathman (Elkhart Lake) on string bass; JoAnne Friedman (Cascade) on guitar and vocals; Ken Wilhite (Gibbsville) on fiddle; and Kristia Wildflower (Plymouth), jokester and storyteller. Returning to this show after a 5-year hiatus is Jay Burkard (Sheboygan), on vocals, tin whistle, and clarinet. New to this year’s show is Emmie Christensen (Sheboygan) on fiddle and vocals, who will also be performing Irish dance.

“Mill Street Live” will be celebrating its 16th year as Plymouth Arts Center’s premier summer musical series. Initiated in 2009, the series continues to be well-known for its high-energy performances, fantastic music selections, choreography, and showmanship.
Mill Street Live is directed by Ella Josephs and Christina Pringle. Seven Friday evening shows and two Sunday matinees will be performed at the Plymouth Arts Center beginng with the premier on Friday, June 21 at 7:30pm. All Friday evening shows will be presented at 7:30pm, matinees at 2:30pm. The grand finale show will be held on Friday, August 2nd.
