Done to Death, a murder-mystery comedy, is a 1970 play written by Fred Carmichael. The plot focuses on five has-been Mystery Fiction writers who are brought to the mysterious Vulture’s Vault to collaborate on and write a new murder mystery TV series…and then the real murders start to happen and hilarity ensues. The play is huge parody of the murder mystery genre as each writer has their own style that they use in hopes of figuring out the murders. “Ingeniously packed into the script is a parody of every mystery plot, hero, and villain created in the past fifty years. Glens Falls Post Star reported, “Carmichael plays a skillful and fast paced game of guess again with the audience…. “Clever and rewarding.” - Bennington Banner. The cast includes: Tom Clegg; Wendy Schuh; Mandy Radloff; Dan Mahlendorf; Tammy Dickmann-Flunker; Renee Wachuta; Neil Beaton, Betty Liddle, Jim Liddle; JaLynn Schuh; Emily Schuh; Tehya Wachuta; David Ezra; Toddianna Kraemer; and Michellelena Kraemer. Kerry Kraemer is the director.
