Plymouth Arts Center’s Annual Paint the Towns in Fall Color, En Plein Air (outdoor painting) competition and exhibition is graciously coordinated by artist Dan Rizzi of Plymouth. Midwest artists are invited to register by September 30th to take advantage of the promotional rate of $45; after Sept. 30th the fee will be $50. Early registration is encouraged, as the first 45 artists to register will be accepted. The painting days are Thursday, October 6 through Thursday, October 13th with a public reception on Friday, October 14th. The painting boundaries will include specified areas in Plymouth and Greenbush, and a special weekend, “Sunset Quick Paint.” At the reception, cash prizes in the amount of $3000 will be awarded. Best of Show Award-$1000; 2nd Place-$750; Third Place-$350; along with a number of other cash and merit awards. The paintings created at Paint the Towns in Fall Color will be on display and up for bid in the main gallery of the Plymouth Arts Center.

The artist prospectus and registration form is available on the PAC website and Facebook page. All proceeds of this event benefit the Plymouth Arts Center, a charitable 501c3 non-profit organization. The public is invited to a festive reception and silent auction on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 6pm to 9pm to view all the paintings created at the event. This is a free admission reception with live music and complimentary appetizers and desserts. It is a great opportunity to meet the participating artists and to bid on a favorite piece at the Silent Auction until 9:00pm. After the reception and silent auction, the unsold works will remain in Gallery 110 North through November 18 and be for sale at a “Buy it Now” retail price. Paint the Towns is sponsored by Sargento, Bank First, Paul & Kathy Sartori, the Sartori Company, Van Horn Auto. 15 different venues and over 35 artists await you this spring for the 10th Annual Northern Moraine Spring Art Tour. You’ll have a chance to meet painters, jewelers, potters, fiber, glass, metal, wood, leather artists, photographers and more. There will be demos, door prizes, and the opportunity to purchase original, fine art directly from the artists who created it. Admission is free!

“Mill Street Live” will be celebrating its 16th year as Plymouth Arts Center’s premier summer musical series. Initiated in 2009, the series continues to be well-known for its high-energy performances, fantastic music selections, choreography, and showmanship.
Mill Street Live is directed by Ella Josephs and Christina Pringle. Seven Friday evening shows and two Sunday matinees will be performed at the Plymouth Arts Center beginng with the premier on Friday, June 21 at 7:30pm. All Friday evening shows will be presented at 7:30pm, matinees at 2:30pm. The grand finale show will be held on Friday, August 2nd. Please join us this summer, you are going to love “Mill Street Live!”
